Privacy Policy
TypeMaster is built to keep your typing practice on your device. This page explains what we do and do not collect.
Typing data stays local
Words per minute, accuracy, and lesson or story progress are stored in your browser or desktop app. We do not upload keystrokes, typed text, or timing metrics from your practice sessions.
Anonymous page-open counts
On the website, an anonymous open counter calls increment.php with the page path only (for example /stories/). That helps us understand which pages are visited. It is not tied to an account, and it does not include what you type.
Accounts and ads
TypeMaster does not require signup. We do not sell personal data. The product is free and does not run third-party ad networks for tracking practice content.
Desktop app
The offline Windows and macOS apps keep progress on your machine. See the download page for installers.
